Connecting the joy of giving with the honor of receiving for Mother’s Day

Father Ed Judy House alumni, Jennifer (last name not used to protect her privacy), left, received an early Mother’s Day basket May 1. The basket was prepared and donated by Rita Henry, right, during an event in April at the home of Kevin and Mary McNicholas. The Mother’s Day baskets are being given to moms experiencing homelessness or otherwise being served through Catholic Charities ministries including: Early Childhood Education, Father Ed Judy House, The Gabriel House Project and Kinship—Relatives Raising Children, as well as at the following shelters: The Guadalupe Community Shelter in Greeley, The Mission Homeless Shelter in Fort Collins and Samaritan House in Denver. To participate through May 31, the feast of the Visitation, visit www.ccdenver.org/baskets, email woldenbrook@ccdenver.org or call 303-742-0828.
