Pray the Corpus Christi Novena starting June 2

(The Last Supper by Juan de Juanes)

On June 10, the Feast of Corpus Christi, the Parish Year of the Eucharistic Revival officially launches! The Parish Year is at the heart of the Eucharistic Revival. While the practice of Eucharistic adoration is treasured and highly recommended by the Church, the home of the Eucharist is the Holy Mass. Following that, the home of the Holy Mass is the local parish. The parish, then, is the ideal and most common place that the faithful encounter Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.

To help usher in the Parish Year, the Archdiocese of Denver will join with National Eucharistic Revival in praying a novena over the nine days leading up to Corpus Christi, beginning June 2. We will pray for the Lord to open our hearts as we prepare to launch the Parish Year and that this next year would be a fruitful time for the faithful to re-encounter Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
