Every day, people across the Archdiocese of Denver come to St. Raphael Counseling seeking hope. They arrive carrying anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship struggles and other challenges, and they find compassionate professionals who accompany them on the path to healing.
Now, St. Raphael Counseling, a ministry of Catholic Charities, is inviting experienced licensed mental health professionals to become part of that mission.
As a ministry of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver, St. Raphael Counseling provides professional mental health services rooted in both clinical excellence and the Catholic understanding of the human person. The ministry serves children, adolescents, adults, couples and families through individual, marriage and family counseling, psychological evaluations and school-based mental health services. With offices and in schools across the Archdiocese, St. Raphael Counseling makes compassionate, evidence-based care accessible to individuals at every stage of life, regardless of their faith background.
"Our clinicians don't simply provide therapy — they accompany people through some of life's most difficult moments with clinical excellence, compassion and a deep respect for the dignity of every person," said Michelle Connor Harris, executive director of St. Raphael Counseling. "For therapists who see their profession as a vocation, St. Raphael Counseling offers the opportunity to integrate faith and psychology while transforming lives every day.”
St. Raphael Counseling is currently seeking licensed mental health professionals with at least five years of clinical experience. The ministry is especially interested in therapists with a passion for marital and family therapy as it continues to meet the growing need for faith-informed counseling throughout the Archdiocese of Denver. Flexible in-office and telehealth opportunities are available in Englewood, Littleton and Westminster, serving clients at locations across the Archdiocese. Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) clinicians are especially encouraged to apply, though bilingualism is not required.
"Our counselors walk with individuals, couples and families through anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and life's many challenges," said Dr. Randy Vette, licensed clinical psychologist with St. Raphael Counseling. "Through evidence-based care rooted in the Catholic understanding of human dignity, we help people encounter healing, hope and practical tools for everyday life.”
For clinicians seeking more than a job, St. Raphael Counseling offers a place where professional excellence, meaningful relationships and Catholic faith come together in service of others.
