Her story’s been shared on multiple platforms… 98-year-old Peggy Coppom is a devout Catholic and a Colorado Buffaloes superfan! Six days a week, you’ll find her at Mass at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Boulder, while she spends Saturdays cheering on her CU Buffs. She never fumbles her rosary beads, especially when praying for her team! And with CU’s current winning streak – it is as if God answered her prayers!

Since Peggy was a teenager, she and her late twin sister Betty have been the Buffaloes’ biggest fans. Recently, ahead of the Rocky Mountain Showdown, she was intercepted by her dream team, including Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders, as she had the opportunity to spend time with the undefeated squad.

Watch Peggy’s story on ESPN as she meets Deion “Coach Prime” Sanders, thanks to CU Athletics!
