WATCH: Forming Priests to Bring Him Near

Through your generous prayer and financial support, young men are being formed in faith, discipleship and service of the people of God across the Archdiocese of Denver.
Even in a world of rapidly evolving technology, a priest's presence can never be replaced. He shows up, in the person of Christ, to break bread, pour water, anoint with oil, and lay hands on those entrusted to his care. That presence is formed over years, in prayer and study, long before he is ever ordained.
This year, a record number of young men are preparing for priestly ministry at the Archdiocese of Denver's two seminaries: St. John Vianney Theological Seminary and Redemptoris Mater Archdiocesan Missionary Seminary.
Over the next two weekends, seminarians will be visiting parishes across the Archdiocese to share how God is moving in their lives. Your prayers, encouragement and support help make their formation possible. Thank you for helping form our seminarians who will one day, God willing, preach the Gospel, celebrate the sacraments and guide souls home to Christ.
