On Sunday, Oct. 29, Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila celebrated a special Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Lakewood, bringing the pilgrimage year opened Oct. 23, 2016, to a close.

The parish was designated a pilgrimage site over the past year in honor of the 100th anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima, in which Our Lady appeared to three young shepherds in Portugal and urged them to share with the world a two-fold message: to honor her Immaculate Heart and to pray the rosary for the conversion of sinners. The Holy Door at the parish was closed during the ceremony.

Below is a gallery with some of the highlights of the day. All photos by Jason Weinrich.
