Below is an official decree declaring updates and changes to the Pastoral Handbook for the Archdiocese of Denver, effective July 1, 2025.
The Pastoral Handbook, which serves as the Particular Law of the Archdiocese in harmony with the 1983 Code of Canon Law, has been updated following proper consultation with the Presbyteral Council. By decree of Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila, S.T.L., these updates now carry the authority of particular law for the Archdiocese of Denver.
Details of the changes can be found in Appendix A and are reflected in the updated pages of the handbook.
