The 16th Annual Priest and Seminarian Appreciation Day will take place on June 1 at The Ridge at Castle Pines North, offering a meaningful opportunity to honor the priests who faithfully serve our communities and the seminarians preparing for that vocation.
Hosted by Catholic Radio Network in partnership with generous sponsors, this special day is designed to provide rest, recreation and fraternity for clergy and those in formation. Priests and seminarians are invited to visit the event website to explore a variety of activities available throughout the day.
This event, now widely known as Priest and Seminarian Appreciation Day (P.A.S.A.D.), began in Colorado 17 years ago under the name “Suits for Priests.” It was originally created as a way for Colorado Catholics to give back to their priests by providing new clerical attire paired with a day of golf or poker. Over time, the event has grown to include seminarians and expanded activity offerings beyond its original format.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, last year’s event provided more than $28,000 worth of suits, coats, chasubles and other clothing items to priests and final-year seminarians — a tangible expression of gratitude for their service and vocation.
The broader Catholic community is invited to take part by supporting this event through sponsorships and donations, helping ensure a memorable and uplifting experience for those who give so much in service to the Church. Parishes are also encouraged to share this opportunity within their communities using the available promotional resources, and additional sponsors are warmly welcomed.
