Our beloved Holy Father celebrates his Platinum Jubilee today!

As the Church celebrates the Feast of the Exaltation of the Cross, honoring the very instrument that brought about our salvation, we also give thanks for the gift of the Vicar of Christ on earth, Pope Leo XIV.

On a recent visit to Rome for the canonizations of St. Carlo Acutis and St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, Denver Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila even got to meet Pope Leo and assured him of the Archdiocese of Denver's prayers for him and his new ministry.

As a successor of St. Peter, the rock on which the Church was founded, Pope Leo takes up his cross daily, shepherding the universal Church with fidelity, compassion, mercy and love.

Join us in praying for him especially today, that the Lord may protect and defend him, give him wisdom and courage, and pour out the peace and joy that only Jesus Christ can give!

Ad multos annos, Pope Leo XIV! For many more years!
