“Your journey to graduation began with small steps; your first day in our halls, those wonderful ‘first day of school pics,’ the first day of your senior year, your first time encountering challenges that tested not only your mind, but your heart and your values. Through it all, you have grown — not just academically, not just physically, but spiritually. And this journey, like all meaningful ones, has required a great deal of courage. Courage to stand for what is right, even when it is hard. Courage to admit when you struggled, and to rise when you fell. Courage to accept when you’ve been or done wrong, to right it and move on. Lastly, the courage to live your faith in a world that often encourages you to leave it behind. Through your trials and your triumphs, you have shown strength, but not just your own. You have leaned on the strength of your community, your families, your teachers, and above all, on the strength of God. I challenge you to make a difference, make a mark, and leave a legacy of courage and faith for all those you encounter. Go with courage. Go with faith. And go with God.” Mike D. Gabriel President

Valedictorian: Edward Amponsah-Asamoah

Salutatorian: Quinlan Smythe

“I am talking about the genuine love of God, the Christian love. A love that is patient; kind; not envious, boastful, or arrogant or rude, attributes we see in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. The love that your parents, siblings, friends, mates chose to show you. The love we chose to share with each other — the Agape Love. Now with all this love you’ve been shown, let me ask you this: what are YOU going to do with it? I believe that Regis Jesuit has been an excellent place for us to bond together and grow in love. [It] taught me that love is not something that is meant to be kept to yourself… Therefore, I encourage you to take this love you’ve experienced and share it with the world. Let everyone you interact with feel the love you’ve been shown here." Edward Amponsah-Asamoah Valedictorian

“Never stop searching for light. I don’t need to state the cliché that ‘we live in uncertain times,’ because, in all honesty, I can’t think of a period in human history where the times were certain. But one steadfast and enduring truth has been, is now and always will be: so long as you are willing to search for light, it can be found. I’ll take it a step further — each of you is a light. Your desires, your devotion, your perseverance, your undying love and your willingness to share them make each of you a light. The same light that people search for. The same light that the world needs. The same light that God planted within you. So never hesitate to look inside yourself for the strength and hope that you need to carry on. Be bright, bold and even blinding like the love that we felt here.” Theresa Dowling Student Commencement Speaker
