For families with babies and young children, diapers are more than a convenience — they are a necessity. But for too many parents, keeping enough diapers on hand can be a financial challenge.

This October, Catholic Charities is inviting our community to help change that through the Bottom Line Diaper Bank Fall Diaper Drive, taking place October 1–30, 2026.

The annual drive collects diapers and raises funds to help ensure babies throughout the Archdiocese of Denver can stay clean, dry and healthy while giving parents one less expense to worry about.

Meeting a Basic Need for Families

Diaper need can have a much larger impact on a family than many people realize. Without an adequate supply of diapers, babies can face increased health risks, and some children may be unable to attend early childhood education or child care programs that require families to provide diapers. In fact, one in four parents misses work or school because they cannot afford diapers.

That is where the Catholic Charities Bottom Line Diaper Bank steps in.

Through the generosity of donors, volunteers and community partners, the Bottom Line Diaper Bank raises funds and collects diapers that are distributed through Marisol Family locations and other Catholic Charities programs serving parents and young children.

The need is significant. Last year alone, the Bottom Line Diaper Bank distributed more than 2.2 million diapers, helping serve more than 61,000 children and 35,000 adults.

Behind each of those numbers is a family receiving practical support when they need it most. A donated box of diapers can mean a baby has what he or she needs for the days ahead, while a parent can put limited resources toward rent, groceries, transportation and other necessities.

Every Diaper Makes a Difference

Throughout October, individuals, families, parishes, schools, businesses and community groups can join the Fall Diaper Drive and help stock the Bottom Line Diaper Bank for families across our community.

Whether someone donates diapers, organizes a collection or makes a financial gift, every contribution adds up.

And the Fall Diaper Drive is just one of several opportunities throughout the year to support this important work.

The Lenten Diaper Drive, taking place February 10–March 29, 2027, will offer another opportunity for the community to collect and give diapers during the Lenten season.

Then, from April 5 to May 9, 2027, supporters can participate in the Mother’s Day Card Sale by purchasing cards that give back and help provide essential resources for mothers and families served by Catholic Charities.

Together, these drives help keep the Bottom Line Diaper Bank stocked throughout the year and ensure families can continue receiving this basic necessity.

Every diaper donated is one more way to support a parent, care for a child and help build stronger, healthier families.
