WATCH: From student to shepherd; Fr. John Stapleton ascends to spiritual helm at Holy Family High Sc

Updated: Nov 13, 2024

By Kelly Clark & Neil McDonough

Father John Stapleton never thought he’d be a priest, let alone the chaplain of his high school! Walking through the halls, he remembers his time at Holy Family High School in Broomfield fondly. He credits his Catholic education for his strong foundation, as he is also an alum of St. John the Baptist in Longmont. Father John says when you choose a Catholic education for your family, you’re choosing the faith life.

And he’s not the only one. In the coming weeks, the Denver Catholic will share stories of those who answered God’s call to Holy Life and how a Catholic education turned a whisper into a burning flame.
