Official Priest Assignments: August 20, 2025

Here’s a list of all the new priest assignments for the Archdiocese of Denver, including pastor and parochial vicar assignments, parish administrators, incardinations and excardinations. These appointments were effective July 1, 2025, unless noted otherwise.

Pastor Assignments:

Father Crispin Kya Bela Mema Kibambe, St. Patrick, Holyoke, St. Peter the Apostle, Fleming, and Christ the King, Haxtun, until June 30, 2031.

Father Jerome Rohr, Parochial Administrator pro tempore, St. Patrick, Holyoke, St. Peter the Apostle, Fleming, and Christ the King, Haxtun, until August 31, 2025.

Father Christopher Gama, O.F.M. Cap., Annunciation, Denver, effective June 30, 2025, until his time in ministry here is complete.

Parochial Vicar Assignments:

Father Arumugam Ananda Kumar, H.G.N., granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Fort Collins, ad nutum archiepiscopi.

Father Alfred Dotto Francis Mlinga, granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed to Immaculate Conception, Lafayette, ad nutum achiepiscopi.

Father Joseph Dalimata, F.S.S.P., granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Littleton, until his time in ministry here has ended.

Father Joseph Loftus, F.S.S.P., granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Littleton, until his time in ministry here has ended.

Father Padriac Stack, granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Littleton, until his time in ministry here has ended.

Father Joseph Elder, O.F.M. Cap., Annunciation, Denver, effective August 1, 2025, until his time in ministry here has ended.

Father Vincent Carrasco, O.F.M. Cap., was granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and appointed to Annunciation, Denver, effective August 1, 2025, until his time in ministry here has ended.

Other Assignments/Departures:

Father Charles Polifka, O.F.M. Cap., departs Annunciation, Denver, to another assignment from his Provincial Minister.

Father Miguel Soubrier was assigned residence at Blessed Sacrament, Denver, effective immediately, ad nutum archiepiscopi. He will continue his role as Prison Minister assigned to the Office of Pastoral Outreach in the Archdiocese of Denver.

Father Daniel A. Mora Arenas, S.J., granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and assigned residence at the Xavier Jesuit Center, Denver, where he will serve as part of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Jesuit Novitiate Staff, effective August 1, 2025, until his time in ministry here is complete.

Father D. Scott Hendrickson, S.J., granted Presbyteral Faculties of the Archdiocese of Denver and assigned residence at the Regis University Jesuit Community, Denver, where he will serve as interim president for Regis University, effective July 21, 2025, until his time in ministry here is complete.

Incardinations and Excardinations:

Father Martin Latiff, incardinated into the Archdiocese of Denver on June 2, 2025, and assigned as Parochial Vicar of Spirit of Christ, Arvada, effective July 1, 2025, ad nutum archiepiscopi.

Father Gonzalo Esteban Sanguinetti, incardinated into the Archdiocese of Denver on June 2, 2025, and assigned as Parochial Vicar of St. John the Evangelist, Loveland, effective July 1, 2025, ad nutum archiepiscopi.

Father Ricardo Castro Huergo, incardinated into the Archdiocese of Denver on June 2, 2025, and continuing as Parochial Vicar of the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Denver, and St. Elizabeth of Hungary, Denver.

Father Declan Creighton, granted excardination from the Archdiocese of Denver effective September 1, 2025.
