Imagine the future of our Church: one filled with happy, holy, compassionate and caring priests ready to guide and nurture the faithful.

That future begins today with the formation of seminarians who are answering God’s call to discern the priesthood. The Seminaries’ Appeal is our opportunity to support these men as they courageously follow the Lord Jesus wherever he calls them.

The seminarians at St. John Vianney Seminary and Redemptoris Mater Seminary are preparing to dedicate their lives in service to others, but they can’t do it alone. With an annual cost of $61,000 to form one seminarian for the priesthood, our 100+ seminarians need your help as they grow closer to the Lord Jesus and discern the Father’s plan for their lives.

By contributing to the Seminaries’ Appeal, you help provide them with:

  • Academic formation: Comprehensive theological training is essential to form well-rounded, knowledgeable priests. Donations help cover the costs of seminary education, ensuring that each seminarian is thoroughly prepared for a life of ministry.

  • Pastoral formation: Seminarians engage in hands-on experiences that prepare them for ministry, learning the pastoral skills necessary to guide and support others in their faith journeys.

  • Discernment Opportunities: The journey to the priesthood is one of deep spiritual reflection. Donations support retreats, spiritual direction and discernment programs, allowing men to fully explore their vocation.

Your generosity today helps build the foundation for tomorrow’s Church leaders. Through your support, you’re investing in the future of our faith, ensuring that the next generation of priests is equipped to shepherd and inspire us for years to come.
