About the event
Event Description:
Patris Corde is a silent retreat center nestled in the mountains, two hours northwest of Denver. Our mission is to offer a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful space where people can come to rest and receive from the Heart of the Father. We are currently building six hermitages, or poustinias—simple cabins designed for individual, self-led silent retreats lasting from one day to thirty days. At the center of the retreat grounds is a chapel inspired by the Portiuncula in Assisi. Our plan is to be fully open this fall!
Our hope with this upcoming camping trip is to invite our friends from Denver to experience the land, see and understand our mission, enjoy a time of peace, prayer, and fellowship, and lend a hand with some simple tasks around the property as we prepare to open. Schedule:
Saturday
Volunteer work: 12:00–4:00 PM
Community dinner: 6:00 PM
