If you’ve been glued to the Tour de France this summer, inspired by the grit, endurance and camaraderie of the peloton, it’s time to take that excitement off the screen and onto the road. The Samaritan House Cycling Team is inviting riders of all skill levels to saddle up for a great cause — and an even greater community.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or just bought your first road bike, there’s a place for you on the team. They're more than just a group of riders — it's a faith-driven community committed to supporting Samaritan House and the vital work it does for our brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness in Denver.

Samaritan House Cycling’s next major ride is the Denver Century Ride on September 27, a premier local cycling event with routes for all abilities — from 25 to 100 miles. But you don’t have to wait to get involved. There are several smaller group rides and events happening between now and then, giving you plenty of opportunities to train, connect and grow in fellowship.

Riding with the Samaritan House team means more than crossing a finish line — it means riding with purpose. Every mile helps raise awareness and support for one of the Archdiocese’s most impactful ministries. Samaritan House provides shelter, meals, job training and a path to self-sufficiency for hundreds of individuals and families every year. When you ride with us, you become a part of that mission.

Our team is welcoming, supportive and open to everyone — no fancy gear or racing background required. All you need is a bike, a helmet and a heart for service. Many of our members say what began as a ride for charity quickly became a source of lasting friendships, spiritual growth and personal transformation.

So, if you’ve been inspired by the Tour de France and are looking for your next challenge — or if you just want to enjoy the Colorado scenery with fellow Catholics — now’s the time to join.
