In a spirit of prayer and joyful fraternity, Denver Archbishop Samuel J. Aquila visited the Saint John Institute (SJI) this week, offering a blessing over its mission, campus and growing network of Catholic leaders.

Welcomed by Father Nathan Cromly, founder and president of SJI, Archbishop Aquila toured the ministry’s Englewood campus and met with members of its leadership and staff. The visit concluded with a time of prayer in the Resurrection Oratory Chapel, where the archbishop invoked God’s blessing on the work of the Saint John Institute and all those it serves.

“It was so awesome that Archbishop Aquila visited and blessed SJI,” said Father Cromly. “We, in turn, made him an honorary member. Thank you, Archbishop, for visiting the Saint John Institute, for praying with us, and for blessing our ministry. We are grateful for your presence!”

Founded with a vision of forming Catholic leaders in business, ministry and family life, the Saint John Institute is a unique apostolate within the Archdiocese of Denver. Its mission is rooted in the conviction that faith-filled leadership can transform culture when formed through the lens of Catholic teaching and the life of the Church.

The archbishop’s visit affirms the deep connection between the Archdiocese and this growing initiative, which has quickly become a hub of evangelization, formation and outreach for Catholics nationwide.
